In my my case, kid is too young to think about any role model nor in a state to accept to follow any model I set for him. In India, November 14 is celebrated as Children's Day - the birthday of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of India. At his school there was a fancy dress competition, my kid too participated. In fact, the fancy dress competition would help kids to set role model, they will show their interest to know more about the character they dress up every year. In my schooldays there were such competition but never thought how such competition could guide us in a great way. I thought of police character for my kid but unfortunately that was not available in the market, so dressed up him as a 'Gujarati Boy'. His teachers appreciated his dress.
