Reasons behind loss of interest in studies
The main reason, as to, why students are losing interest in studies is that, education is thrust upon them as some sort of burden, which they have to bear by compulsion, there is lot of pressure on the students from the college, and parents, as each and every parent wants to see their child as a ranker or as a topper, and corporate colleges are literally squeezing life out of students. Education is no more a self development tool, and a means to acquire worldly knowledge, it has become mere means of earning salary, and to keep oneself ahead in the bread winning race. Lecturers and professors are concerned with completing syllabus and parents are concerned with ranks and grades, but no one is really bothered as to what the student is gaining.
