Every moment of our life we knowingly or unknowingly involve in decision making. Either for ourselves or for the ones we are concerned about. Decision making is a very important aspect of every one’s life. When decisions are to be made, there are so many aspects that need to be considered. There are some kinds of decisions that are made on a yes or no basis, should I do this or should not. This involves contemplation, and a bit of struggle. For example the ones involving Morals, should I drink alcohol or should I not. ? What if I consume alcohol? The main reason, as to, why students are losing interest in studies is that, education is thrust upon them as some sort of burden, which they have to bear by compulsion, there is lot of pressure on the students from the college, and parents, as each and every parent wants to see their child as a ranker or as a topper, and corporate colleges are literally squeezing life out of students. Education is no more a self development tool, and a means to acquire worldly knowledge, it has become mere means of earning salary, and to keep oneself ahead in the bread winning race. Lecturers and professors are concerned with completing syllabus and parents are concerned with ranks and grades, but no one is really bothered as to what the student is gaining.
