Corruption Will Be the End of Indian Society

Corruption is so badly spread in the entire system, that it is hard to find, a sincere person and a clean department or field, where there is no corruption and where there are no corrupt people. If we observe the recent developments, in the political, judicial and other systems, there are many people who are arrested on the basis of corruption. Judges, politicians, IAS officers, even some people belonging to police department, enforcement and anti corruption also.

What else, can we say about the rest of the people and departments, when highly educated people, people holding highest ranks in the society and in the government, people who should be exemplary to the normal man, have become corrupt? Corruption has spread not like cancer, but like blood, throughout the system. What is the use, if there are few, common people, who want to be honest and sincere.

It is not enough if one; Anna Hazare comes out and raises voice against corruption. It is us, common people, who have to wake up to the call of the time. It is only tiny droplets that make a big ocean. When we can from communities for different casts, religions, why don’t we form communities and become united against corruption and for a right cause. If one person refuses to bride, his work may not be done, but if all the people become united, and be on one word, is it that difficult to eradicate corruption?

If the society is still functioning the way it is, it is, because of the few honest and sincere people. We should all be united for right causes and for the right reason, because, it is not people belonging to one caste or religion or class, that are the sufferers. The entire nation is suffering and all the citizens of the nation are suffering because of the corruption. The main reason for the increase in the corrupt practices is, fear, people fear to raise voice against, corrupt practices, and those who are honest and want to erase them, do not get support. There are sincere officers and honest officers, but they do not get support either from the system or from the public, so, when each one thinks I am alone, what will happen to me or my family or my work if I raise voice against corruption, the opposing forces gain power.

Honest officers, and administrators should get public support, if we as common public can do this, how much corrupt the system may be, how much powerful the opposing forces may be, they can do nothing. When there are people to support, good, and the right practices and when all stand on one word and path, no force on this earth can shake us. So, let us all arise, and awake, as Swamy Vivekananda said, to the need of the hour and do our part, rightly as the true citizens of the nation, by not giving bribes and supporting those, who are against corruption.

Jai Hind.
