Journalism - A study on Reality?

Journalism is the study on reality, in other words, its about news and ethics. Over the years, the media has been become the major tool to reach people and playing major role in society building. Without the study of journalism the media would have lost its proper direction in serving the society. As one great man said, one uncontrolled pen would destroy the society rather serving it , he is none other than Mahatma Gandhi. The ethics in media and a Laxman Rekha (Self-regulation) are must of media organisation and student of journalism. Without, the aim will be lost in the race competitiveness and business. Role of media has been defined in proper manner that it guides the society and helps administration to look upon the loopholes there. National Press Day on Nov 16!

On November 16th, India observed the National Press Day. Amid the statements over regulating press, watching some debates over the ethics and regulation, I have been planning to pen down my thoughts on Press and its role in the society, now got the opportunity at least share my views.  I worked with English Daily, Hitavada and ETV Network. I learn many things about the press and its standard role in the society.  While attending training at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, I learn many good thing about press. I believe the Press stands for freedom of speed and expression in the interest of the society. The father of nation, Mahatma Gandhiji told that uncontrolled pen would destroy the society.  Similarly controlled pen severs the society in many ways. The investigative journalism which is the core, and bring the hidden truth, I support to that. People have every right to know about the country and leaders.
