Headline Inflation slides in November 2012

Good news for the customers and the citizens of India, the headline inflation based on monthly Wholesale Price Index (WPI) has been dropped to 7.24 per cent for November 2012. In October 2012, it was at 7.45 per cent. However, the food inflation in primary articles went up by 1.21 per cent to 9.42 per cent. While the inflation in non-food articles has been increased by 1.8 per cent to 201.3 from 197.7 in November 2012.

Role of commonmen in India’s Development

Most of us most of the time keep blaming the system and the politicians everything else but ourselves, for the lack of development, and for our position. The truth is that to some extent they are indeed responsible but, we as common citizens of India have a very important role to play, in the development of our nation. Is it true that the rich are getting richer and poor are getting poorer?

Yes, it is a fact that, rich are getting richer and poor are becoming poorer. The reason is money is not getting evenly distributed in the society. Only few people in the high level are retaining all the money, and are not allowing it to circulate. People who have money, are investing it, and are getting high returns. While the poor, are dying hard to earn mouthful. Employees are always dependent on pay checks, for their living and what they earn is hardly sufficient to meet the needs. The other main reason is that, ever increasing standard of living. All the prices right from the vegetables to fuel are always on raise. But, the income level is the same, on and off when the government employees go on a strike, their pay checks are increased as per pay revision.
