Is it true that the rich are getting richer and poor are getting poorer?

Yes, it is a fact that, rich are getting richer and poor are becoming poorer. The reason is money is not getting evenly distributed in the society. Only few people in the high level are retaining all the money, and are not allowing it to circulate. People who have money, are investing it, and are getting high returns. While the poor, are dying hard to earn mouthful. Employees are always dependent on pay checks, for their living and what they earn is hardly sufficient to meet the needs.

The other main reason is that, ever increasing standard of living. All the prices right from the vegetables to fuel are always on raise. But, the income level is the same, on and off when the government employees go on a strike, their pay checks are increased as per pay revision. But, what about, those lakhs of people, working in the private sector and as daily labor. No one is there to listen to them and their problems. More over the increase in unemployment is another major factor, because more number of capable and competent people are there to work, for less salary, so, employers hardly bother to increase the pay.

So, the salary of these people remains same, and other reason is employees fear demanding what they deserve, because they may get dismissed or lose their job. So, prices keep increasing, standard of living keeps increasing, everything except salary keeps increasing, and along with that normal man’s B. P also keeps increasing. So, when salary becomes insufficient, there will raise a situation, where they will not be able to meet needs. And the bottom line is poor become poorer. So, unless and until all these aspects are taken care of and rectified, the problem will remain same and more over, the gap will keep increasing between the rich and the poor in the society.
