Journalism - A study on Reality?

journalism
Journalism is the study on reality, in other words, its about news and ethics. Over the years, the media has been become the major tool to reach people and playing major role in society building.

Without the study of journalism the media would have lost its proper direction in serving the society. As one great man said, one uncontrolled pen would destroy the society rather serving it, he is none other than Mahatma Gandhi.

The ethics in media and a Laxman Rekha (Self-regulation) are must of media organisation and student of journalism. Without, the aim will be lost in the race competitiveness and business.

Role of media has been defined in proper manner that it guides the society and helps administration to look upon the loopholes there.

There may be many criticisms there  about role of media in highlighting the issues, news and views. But, the role has always been appreciated, which aimed to help and helped many.

However, unfortunately few instances of  bribe and business ethics in journalism left black spots on media for ever.

Journalism is the basis for media, and the latter is incomplete without it. But the big question will remain, is the study of journalism changing according to the changes in the society?
